Submit Application and Payment
If you’re a business or organization wishing to participate in an Open Streets ICT event, you must submit the online application and payment no later than the given deadline. Food vendors will also need to provide their food handlers card. Late entries will not be listed to the online or printed maps.
Open Streets ICT is an active oriented and family-friendly event. Food trucks and all other vendors are not permitted to serve alcohol under any circumstances. Brick and mortar businesses along the route that serve alcohol will still be allowed to participate. All businesses and organizations participating either by hosting an activity and/or promoting or selling in any way must be appropriate and mindful of everyone including families and pets.
Provide Your Own Materials
Each business and organization participating in an Open Streets ICT event must be able to provide their own equipment needed for their activity and/or promotion including (but not limited to) tents, tables, electricity and volunteers. If you have a special circumstance, please list so on your application and we may be able to provide assistance to those who qualify. In addition, all business and organizations that qualify for the Business on Route/Non-Profit rate MUST provide water for individuals and pets from 12-5pm.

Yes – while each Open Streets ICT event may have additional rules depending on the location, vendors must follow these general rules for each event:
- Submit a completed registration form, payment and any other documents by the deadline described.
- Provide own equipment needed, including tents, tables, etc.
- All Businesses/Non-Profits MUST provide free water for individuals and pets from 12-5pm the day of the event.

How do I know if my business qualifies for the Business on Route or Non-Profit Rate?
All business and organizations that are directly on or within the 1 or 2 block radius of the route qualify for a FREE 10×10 booth area at the Open Streets ICT event they are registering for. All non-profits registering for the event MUST be able to provide proof of non-profit good-standing to qualify for a 10×10 booth area at Open Streets ICT event they are registering for.
If you are still not sure if you qualify, please contact us at email@example.com.
What type of activity should I host at Open Streets ICT?
Open Streets ICT is all about enjoying the outdoors to get active and engage with the surrounding neighborhood and community. We are looking to place active, fun, safe, and family-friendly activities for all ages (and some pets) to enjoy throughout the duration of the event along the route and at hub locations. You are welcome to come up with your own activity ideas to display at Open Streets ICT. If you can’t decide, or cannot think of an activity view our Activity Inspiration Guide for pre-approved ideas to get you started.
Must all vendors host an activity at an Open Streets ICT event?
Not at all. While we prefer vendors to host an activity, we will not turn away vendors who only wish to sell or promote their services who are also inline with our vision and mission. If you wish to ONLY sell and/or promote your services and products, you MUST select ‘Non-Activity’ and the correct spacing on your vendor registration form.
Can I request a specific spot at Open Streets ICT?
Placement along the route will be determined by Open Streets ICT on a first-come, first-served basis. Vendors will not be permitted to take up more space/be in a different space at the event than the one that is assigned. While vendors cannot request a specific spot along the route or at a hub, spaces will primarily be determined by the type of activity/non-activity vendors will be providing and the space required. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What happens if the event is canceled, do I get my fee refunded?
Open Streets ICT events will go on no matter rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, Open Streets ICT will be unable to have rain dates or give refunds to vendors. Payments received for canceled events may be kept as a donation or go towards the following year’s event.
