What type of activity should I host at Open Streets ICT?
Open Streets ICT is all about enjoying the outdoors to get active and engage with the surrounding neighborhood and community. We are looking to place active, fun, safe, and family-friendly activities for all ages (and some pets) to enjoy throughout the duration of the event along the route and at hub locations. You are welcome to come up with your own activity ideas to display at Open Streets ICT. If you can’t decide, or cannot think of an activity view our Activity Inspiration Guide for pre-approved ideas to get you started.
Must all vendors host an activity at an Open Streets ICT event?
Not at all. While we prefer vendors to host an activity, we will not turn away vendors who only wish to sell or promote their services who are also inline with our vision and mission. If you wish to ONLY sell and/or promote your services and products, you MUST select ‘Non-Activity’ and the correct spacing on your vendor registration form.
Can I request a specific spot at Open Streets ICT?
Placement along the route will be determined by Open Streets ICT on a first-come, first-served basis. Vendors will not be permitted to take up more space/be in a different space at the event than the one that is assigned. While vendors cannot request a specific spot along the route or at a hub, spaces will primarily be determined by the type of activity/non-activity vendors will be providing and the space required. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, please contact us at email@example.com.
What happens if the event is canceled, do I get my fee refunded?
Open Streets ICT events will go on no matter rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, Open Streets ICT will be unable to have rain dates or give refunds to vendors. Payments received for canceled events may be kept as a donation or go towards the following year’s event.
